Pricing

Our goal is to provide you the level of detail you desire at a reasonable price. We won’t be the cheapest, but we also don’t cut corners and will work to ensure a quality shine for your vehicle! Some detailing companies have flat rates for services, and this works for them as they do enough cars that the averages will work out, but Tall in the Details is a very small detailing business that does only a few dozen cars per year. I have cleaned cars where removing pet hair alone takes an hour or two, or where I spend an hour on a single seat, and others where interiors are nearly spotless to begin with, so charging the same rate doesn’t seem fair to me or the customer.

In general our pricing works out to about $35-40/hour, depending on cost of supplies needed and so a lot of pricing will depend on the condition of the vehicle, the level of services desired, as well as the size of vehicle. For a specific estimate, feel free to contact me – tallinthedetails@gmail.com or 303-868-8265. Below are some examples of typical rates for some services.

Standard Interior/Exterior Detail (our most frequently offered service)

  • Interior and Exterior Clean/Protect (typically 4-6 hours) – in the $150-200 range depending on condition. This is what we offer for most people who just want a clean and detailed car but don’t have specific issues that need addressing. This is for cars that are dirty, but not crazy filthy, have some pet hair, but aren’t full of pet hair, and generally haven’t been washed in a while, but aren’t full of stains or garbage either. Includes services that would be associated with a Level I Exterior and a Level I interior. The goal of the standard detail is to get your car clean and protected inside and out!

Exterior Detail Pricing

  • Basic Exterior Clean (typically 45 minutes-1 hour) – Starting at $40. Includes pressure washer rinse, soap applied with foam cannon, scrubbing with microfiber wash pads using two bucket method, rinse, towel dry, exterior glass cleaned.
  • Exterior Level I Detail (typically 2-3 hours) – Starting at $90 – Includes all the services of the basic exterior cleaning (rinse, soap, rinse, towel dry, glass cleaning) as well as more thorough cleaning and finishing of wheels of tires, bug removal, and an application of wax.
  • Exterior Level II Detail (typically 6 hours+) – Starting at $200 – Includes all services in the basic exterior cleaning and the exterior level I detail. Generally also include clay bar treatment, polishing of minor scratches and swirl marks, deep water spot removal, in-depth polishing of chrome or stainless components (wheels, steps, toolboxes, etc.).

Interior Detail Pricing

  • Basic Interior Cleaning (typically 1/2-1 hour) – Starting at $40 – Includes vacuuming of floors, seat and trunk area, floor mat rinse for all-weather mats, cleaning interior glass, wipe down of interior surfaces and dash.
  • Interior Level I Detail (typically 2-3 hours) – Starting at $90 – Includes everything in the basic interior cleaning (vacuum, floormat rinse, wipe down of surfaces, interior glass clean) and includes extended wash and protection of all-season mats, cleaning and light stain removal from fabric/leather seats and/or carpet, steam cleaning where needed, leather and fabric protection.
  • Interior Level II Detail (typically 3+hours) – Starting at $150 – Includes everything in the Basic Interior Cleaning and Interior Detail Level I. This may include in-depth extractions from carpet or fabric, odor removal (such as cigarette or marijuana odor removal), headliner cleaning, cleaning of air vents, etc.

Ceramic Coating Pricing

  • Exterior Graphene Ceramic Coating (typically 10+ hours) – Starting at $750 – Generally a 2-3 day process. Graphene ceramic is a hard coating expected to last 7+ years. This includes everything in the Basic exterior, exterior level I and exterior level II details, but also includes iron removal, clay bar treatment, paint correction and machine polishing across the whole vehicle, followed by applying of graphene ceramic coating.
  • Graphene Ceramic Coating Wheels Only (typically 4-5 hours) – Starting at $150. Similar to graphene ceramic coating for your paint, wheels can be ceramic coated to maintain shine, reduce risk of rust and damage from brake dust, metal fallout, etc. Price will depend on whether wheel fronts alone need coated or if you’d like wheel interiors and barrels coated as well (this involves removal of wheels from vehicle to complete).

Headlight Polishing – Typically $50, but less if combined with other detail services.
